This Week's Vine - some fresh ideas to create, construct and carry on
Here's some ideas to help us all keep active and engaged leading up to Easter.
1. Make a cross - to remind us of Jesus death on Good Friday. Maybe use pliable wire, tin foil, or find some sticks in the garden and join them together using wool or kitchen ties. You might like to stick the cross on some cardboard or paper and add some drawings or words like - "Jesus died for our sins" or " Jesus loves me".
2 Eggciting! Children love Easter egg hunts, especially the younger children. A hunt could be organised in your garden or in your house and perhaps shared online by video ( or Facetime) with family or friends. Before doing so, explain to the children the significance of eggs in our Easter celebrations. Discuss the different creatures that come from eggs like chickens, other birds, fish, butterflies etc.. and that on Easter Day we remember that Jesus was raised from death to life and that we can have new life by following Jesus.
3. Check out The Lost Sheep Videos free each day
